It is a day of rehearsal and reflection. It was 31 years ago today that John Lennon left us. I woke up this morning thinking of all of the songs that he would have created. I bet he would have helped some of his peers stay grounded during the 80's confusion! Anyway, those songs that he would have given to the world are out there somewhere. When I listen close I can almost hear them thru the ether. Off to play some music for one of my truest inspirations. John we miss you and love you dearly!

We are having a productive week here at Camp Girls & Boys! Workin on some new material and adding some new originals to our set. We are also gearing up for 2012! We have big plans for ourselves and our music! We will keep you posted as it all happens! Off to the races
Today we woke up to find that KC Turner a local SF Musician/Promoter had written in his "New Music Monday" blog! We met KC at his open mics at Red Devil Lounge, and Finnegans. He is a great musician and host!

We have been working hard the last couple years to build something that we feel good about. We are getting closer everyday! It is great to hear someone's like KC's encouraging words! We are at home today working on some new songs. It is a continual effort at "Camp Girls & Boys"!

We have been hard at work at Girls & Boys Headquarters and are makin stuff happen! Our gig last night at Gaia's garden was great! We had a fun time, played with friends, Robert Herrera and Nate Prowse. We are at home and workin on gigs and flyers today. Doin a recording session later as well at our home studio. Looking forward to finishing the year strong and keepin the momentum into 2012! Check ya later
Today we are gearing up for our gig at Gaia's Garden in Santa Rosa. We have never played there before and are looking forward to playing for some new faces! We will be joined by keyboard player Nate Prowse this evening. Nate will start the night off with an acoustic piano set at 7, and we will join him for our set at 8 and play til they tell us to go home! Come on down if your hungry they have great food! Workin on a new set of originals!! We have been for awhile now but are just now finding the time to hash them out. Reheasin today with a piano/keyboard player and a new guitarist as well! We are heading down to the Red Devil Lounge tomorrow night to play. Things are busy at the Girls & Boys headquarters with lots of stuff in the works! Some for this year some for next year and some for the distant future. Off to play some music now! Check ya later
It is Jimi Hendrix birthday today!! He would have been 69 years old. He is the biggest influence on our music ever! He continues to be a driving force of inspiration for our music and life! Feel the love!!!! We celebrate not only Jimi the amazing guitar player, but Jimi the songwriter. Thanks Jimi for all the years of love!
Just got back in town from visiting family and playing a hometown gig! We are happy to be home and working on finishing the year strong! We have a lot of stuff up our sleeve and will be unveiling it as it comes in!! Check ya later
